Jim Tsirimiagos

Jim joins the Macroplan team as an experienced, solution-oriented town planner with highly developed statutory and strategic planning expertise gained and enhanced in almost 30 years in the town planning, development, property and infrastructure fields.

Jim is a strong and collaborative leader with a solid track record in providing exceptional service and advice, especially with the resolution of complex multi-layered planning, corridor protection, property, development and legal issues. An expert in his field, who is both a specialist generalist and technical advocate employing a high level of due diligence and providing properly justified outcomes.

Having worked in Government, Jim has an in depth understanding of how Government decision making processes work and has been involved as a subject matter expert in dealing with legislative reform, Ministerial briefings, Cabinet submissions, provision of key infrastructure projects, preparation of user specific guidelines, the assessment of unsolicited proposals, Parliamentary Inquiries and Government initiated statutory and strategic planning projects. From a client-side perspective Jim’s experience in dealing with State and Local Government has assisted Macroplan’s clients with their developments, statutory planning and strategic planning projects.
